Tiny Waffle Coffee|intentions

Tiny Waffle Coffee is a form of expression. My effort to bend and shape the possibilities of the world. My way of experimenting with ideas, learning from challenges, and manifesting opportunities.

I want people to sit with our coffee, with themselves or with someone else, and have a shared, connected experience. What are you smelling? What does it taste like? What does it remind you of? I want to bring people out of their ruminations and into art. Observe and then understand. How did the artist come to this moment and how were they feeling? How does it make you feel? Where in your body do you feel it? Is it heavy or light? I want to bring it back together. Finishing off with a deliberate question that fosters connection, reflection, and understanding. Can we be fully seen for just a moment? Or understand ourselves or each other just a tiny bit more?

I want to model this business with ideas that resonate with me. Patagonia pledges 1% of sales to the preservation and restoration of the natural environment. Actors, musicians, authors get paid royalties. Businesses like Nava and Anthropic are structured as Public Benefit Corporations to defend their mission in the face of maximizing shareholder value. Each bag of our coffee contributes back to the artist and a charity of their choosing. Together, we can support those around us while building something meaningful.

I want to acknowledge the destructive nature of AI while showing that the same technology can elevate human potential. I can choose to support artists and social causes while letting AI code my website with some human guidance. I can enable agents to purchase beans for people who know what they want but don't want to spend the time putting in their credit card number. I can write in my own voice and have AI proofread or just let my typos live on. The algorithms want us to take sides but, as so often in life, we hold conflicting feelings. I want to show that it's okay and we can acknowledge those feelings and find ways to move more deliberately through life.
